Guests who have not reserved a Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Package will be seated at the Disney on Broadway Concert on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is based on availability due to limited capacity.

The America Gardens Theater where the Disney on Broadway Concert Series is held can seat over 1,000 guests per performance, but a large chunk of these seats are set aside for guests who purchase dinner packages. All of these dinner package guests are guaranteed seats in one of the three nightly performances.
In addition to this, fans for particular acts often line up hours in advance, and seeing those long lines, regular tourists also queue up. Consequently, it becomes something of a self-fulfilling prophecy–the standby line for performances can get longer because it’s long.
There’s also the fact that Winter Is Not Off-Season at Walt Disney World, and we’re fully expecting that to hold true in January and February 2026. It’s not peak season, but it’s busy enough that it continues to catch fans by surprise–especially with ‘feels like’ crowds at EPCOT.

Nevertheless, we typically do not recommend purchasing the Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Package. This is nothing like Candlelight Processional in terms of popularity, save for the grand finale performances on February 22 and 23, 2026. We do recommend purchasing the dining package for those evenings. You might also want to buy it for MLK Weekend–or any weekend, for that matter.
FOMO is a powerful motivator, but you should be able to enjoy the concert without paying extra for a dining package. We’ve watched many Disney on Broadway concerts (or portions of them) over the years, and have never once bought one of these dining packages.
We almost always show up a few minutes before the show starts and are able to score seats–albeit sometimes towards the back of the seating area. From our perspective, the dining packages are not essential unless where you sit really matters to you or the Disney on Broadway Concert Series is one of your biggest must-dos. In which case, you might want to hedge your bets and splurge on the package.

If you’re more laid back about it, as we are, then the last minute approach should suffice. My only concern is if crowds worsen in Winter 2026, in which case this could result in getting shut out on some evenings.
That’s especially true as the list of eligible restaurants for the Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Package in 2026 is much longer than it was last year. This strongly suggests that more seats are going to be allocated to dining package (because obviously they are if the packages sell well–it’s a numbers game).
After just experiencing some of the biggest crowds I’ve ever witnessed for Candlelight Processional, and during what should’ve been a fairly “slow” week for Walt Disney World, this does have me slightly concerned–and wanting to hedge my recommendation a bit. We still won’t be buying a Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Package, but your mileage may vary.

In terms of value for money, the dining package is not that expensive (or at least the cost is not badly inflated). However, you absolutely are paying a bit of a premium for the Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Package, and that’s even assuming you “optimization” your order and select the most expensive entrees, etc.
If you elect not to do the Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Package and don’t want very long in line, you have a couple of options. First, show up to the standby line ~15 minutes before the first show of the day starts. Depending upon the popularity of the performers, crowd levels, and the weather, there are usually still seats.
If not, at least you didn’t waste a ton of time standing in line. In many scenarios, that strategy will work just fine. You may not have the best seats, but you’ll still be able to see the show and have a seat.

Alternatively, we recommend trying to watch from the walkway behind the America Gardens Theatre if seating is already full. Even with massive lines, we just used this strategy to watch Candlelight Processional on multiple occasions. This is especially good for parents with children who don’t know if they can sit through an entire performance–you can come and go at your leisure.
Cast Members will manage crowd flow back here in the walkway, but you can simply stand behind the theater (not in the walkway) and watch the concert. This is actually a really good view for the Disney on Broadway Concert Series, and is still reasonably close to the stage. It’s not like being in the cheap seats given the intimate size of the venue–think of it as sitting (well, standing) in the balcony of the America Garden Theatre.

Ultimately, that’s what we do in order to watch the Disney on Broadway Concert Series during EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts. Although we regularly buy the Candlelight Processional Dining Packages, we have never–not once!–bought dining packages for any of the other three festivals. To each their own, but out of the many splurges you can do at Walt Disney World, this one just is not for us–and as such, one we do not recommend for most guests (Presidents Day weekend being the biggest exception).
We may not be right up front and center, but the views are good throughout the America Gardens Theater–and even behind it. We’d rather allocate our budget for visiting Walt Disney World on other things. And we say this as people who love Disney on Broadway and make a point of seeing it a few times each year. If you have infinite resources and don’t mind spending extra, by all means, book the Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Package for peace of mind. If it’ll be a splurge, save that money for something else at Walt Disney World!
